Organisations are rated from one to five stars based on their performance across seven (7) criteria.
HSC Rating Criteria

Cleanliness
Evaluation of the cleanliness of operations (facilities).

Identification and Information
Assessment of the identification of halal areas and information sharing of halal cargo status in operations.

Customer Service
Analysis of the friendliness, efficiency, and helpfulness of operations staff, including information desk personnel and security staff on halal matters.

Halal Inspection
Review of the efficiency and effectiveness of inspection procedures for halal cargo.

Range and Quality of Halal Services
Evaluation of the range and quality of specialised halal related services, such as: halal storage, halal transport, halal packing solutions, ritual cleansing, prayer areas, etc.

Access to Halal Supply Chain Network
Assessment of how easy it is for halal cargo to link to halal transport network and accessibility features.

Meeting Halal Standards
